Annadale is a quiet, suburban residential neighborhood on the south shore of Staten Island, characterized by single-family homes, cul-de-sacs, and a low-density feel that sets it apart from more urban parts of the city. It is close to the Lemon Creek shoreline and sits within Staten Island's broad swath of south shore communities developed largely after the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge opened in 1964.
