Sub-neighborhood in Eastchester · The Bronx

Edenwald is a neighborhood in the far northeast Bronx near the Westchester County border, defined largely by the Edenwald Houses, the largest New York City Housing Authority development in the Bronx with over 2,000 apartments, alongside blocks of one- and two-family homes. The Hutchinson River runs through the area, and the neighborhood is served by the IRT Dyre Avenue Line, one of the more remote subway lines in the city.
