Fordham Heights is a densely populated sub-neighborhood of Fordham in the west Bronx, centered on the blocks west of the Grand Concourse near Fordham Road, and home to one of the most heavily Latino communities in the borough. Its commercial strips along Jerome Avenue and Fordham Road serve as major retail hubs for the surrounding neighborhoods, and the area is well connected by the B and D trains on the Concourse Line.
