Hollis Hills

Sub-neighborhood in Bayside · Queens

Hollis Hills is an affluent, quiet sub-neighborhood of Hollis in eastern Queens, developed from the 1930s through 1950s with elegant single-family homes on winding, tree-lined streets — its "Hills" designation added by developers to distinguish it from the flatlands of adjacent Hollis. It borders Cunningham Park, one of Queens' largest recreational spaces, and maintains a distinctly suburban character with strong homeownership rates and a diverse mix of long-established and newer residents.
