Hudson Yards is a massive, recently developed mixed-use neighborhood on the far west side of midtown Manhattan, built atop a platform over active rail yards and anchored by a cluster of gleaming skyscrapers, high-end retail, and the climbable public sculpture known as the Vessel. It represents one of the largest private real estate developments in U.S. history and offers a striking contrast to the older fabric of surrounding neighborhoods.
