Pelham Parkway

The Bronx

Pelham Parkway is a middle-class residential neighborhood in the northeast Bronx centered on the wide, tree-lined Pelham Parkway boulevard — established in 1911, stretching 2.3 miles and 400 feet across — that connects Bronx Park to Pelham Bay Park and gives the neighborhood its distinctive, airy character. Notable for having the highest concentration of Albanian-Americans in New York City, it is also home to a diverse mix of Hispanic, White, and Asian residents, and has produced notable alumni including journalist Andrea Mitchell and television personality Regis Philbin.
