Two Bridges is a small, historically immigrant neighborhood on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, named for the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges that anchor its northern and southern ends along the East River waterfront. Long home to Chinese and Latino communities, the area has seen significant new high-rise residential development in recent years while retaining its working-class roots.
